Mission of Ministry: To usher people into the very presence of God, while providing direction and assistance as needed.

Meeting Information: We meet in the sanctuary to serve approximately 1 hour prior to every church service.

Ministry Opportunities: There are always ministry opportunities available for anyone interested in serving as an usher.

Training Available: A multi-media course by John Maxwell, as well real time training by one of our anointed ushers.

Welcome to the Usher’s Ministry Information Page. It is truly a ministry of service, oftentimes behind the scenes. Our team serves before, during and after worship services. We arrive well ahead of the service to prepare for the arrival of worshippers. This includes coordinating with our preaching staff to ensure that all they need is in place for a seamless ministry experience. During the service, we serve guests with outlines, envelopes, and collect the offering. An important part of our duties are related to the offerings received during the service. We do a complete accounting and recording of all monies received.

In this ministry, we experience God’s grace regularly and powerfully. The greatest reward is watching the Lord touch His people, some for the 1st time as they are met by His love and grace through one of our ushers. It’s not uncommon for an usher to become an advisor, a source of information, and often times a link between a person’s need and the ministry resources that are available to assist them.
