Mission of the Ministry: To provide the best sound experience for the communication of the Word of God and Worship.

Meeting information: Our team meets in the sanctuary to set up and test the sound at least an hour prior to every service. This will change dramatically when we receive our new sound equipment. (Wed. evenings we meet at 5:45pm and Sunday mornings at 8:30am). Additionally, our team coordinates with all ministries /departments for special events.

Location: Always on campus in the sanctuary.

Ministry Opportunities: There are always ministry opportunities available in this ministry.

Equipment Operators – Operate the equipment at the sound station and
coordinate with the entire team, as well as with the Worship team and team members from the Power Point Ministry, which works along side of us.
Directors – Direct sound adjustments, as they hear it, to the equipment operator through a 2 way radio. Assist with lighting operations as needed.
Duplication Services – Duplicate audio messages onto CD or tape.

Ministry Requirements: None of us are engineers or in school for sound or video applications. We’re looking for committed adults and teens that are interested in team ministry and working to produce the clearest sound possible.

One of the things I want to tell you is that this is a fun and easy part of ministering. It’s easy to learn and apply. Many of my first lessons were given by a teen!
